Our ultimate goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Italian Building Centre. If you receive an item you are dissatisfied with, you may return it within fourteen (14) days to any Italian Building Centre’s store for a refund or exchange within our current return policy guidelines. For additional assistance, visit your local Italian Building Centre’s store or you may call 0208 894 3372 and one of our customer service representatives will be glad to recommend alternative return options that may be available. Information contained on the invoice will be necessary to process the return or refund. Please have the invoice ready when you call. After the return period ends, products will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as applicable.

If you choose to return or exchange your product at one of our retail stores, please bring your receipt or invoice with you to ensure a quick and hassle-free return.

Please note: Shipping charges are not refundable.

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Made to measure or bespoke products which have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Any product with a short shelf life or sell by date.
  • Specially obtained/ordered goods.
  • Cementitious goods (eg. Base coat).
  • Plaster based products (eg. Top coat).
  • Mixed paints/ plasters
  • Chemicals/liquids which have been opened.
  • PIR insulation boards.
  • Goods that have been fitted/installed.
  • Any goods which have become mixed inseparably with other items/other orders after their delivery.

Due to the nature of these goods unless they are faulty, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.

None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.

If you are returning merchandise in new, unused condition, contact us within 14 days from receipt. If you have a return/exchange due to shipping error, defect, or damage, contact us within 24 hours from receipt to qualify for a no-charge pickup. Contact us at 0208 894 3372. One of our customer service representatives will provide you with simple instructions for returning the item. Please have the invoice ready when you call. A copy of the invoice must accompany all returns. A replacement item will be shipped to you once the item being returned has been received.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned goods prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.

One of our customer service representatives will provide you with simple instructions for obtaining a refund for the item. Please have your invoice ready when you call. Your refund will be processed when the item being returned has been received. Refunds will be made by crediting the original method of payment (i.e. credit card, in-store account, etc.).

Special Order items are ordered according to the customer’s specifications. In some instances of return or order cancellation, a restocking charge may apply.
