Artica Plaster Coat

Artica is a cement straightening skim plaster for both indoor and outdoor use, based on white cement, pure selected marble micronised powder aggregates and specific natural additives. Ideal both as a smoothing levelling before decorating with mineral and synthetic paints or coatings, and as a final decorative layer with mirror texture.Formulated in the Research & Development laboratories Licata SpA, is perfectly stable to atmospheric moisture and water.It is characterised by easy workability, high adhesion power, excellent smoothness, together with high mechanical and superficial resistance.The dimensional stability, guaranteed by a hygrometer shrinkage close to zero, allows the application in thickness ranging between 0 and 3 mm in a single coat, reducing cracks to a minimum in all phases of the product life (application, plastic phase, curing).Licata SpA Research & Development has dedicated specific studies to the extended pot life(about 3 hours), an added value that allows to easily retouch the product during the application.

Characteristics

• High mechanical and superficial resistance: high performance hydraulic binders, selected aggregates with controlled grading curve, confer elevated mechanical and superficial resistance.
• Applicable from 0 to 3 mm: the dimensional stability, guaranteed by a hygrometer shrinkage close to zero, allows application in thickness ranging between 0 and 3 mm in a single coat.
• Good workability. The use of special additives and selected micronized marble powder aggregates, give excellent smoothness and ease of processing, reducing the difficulty of installation to a minimum.
• Long open time: Licata SpA Research & Development has dedicated specific studies to the extended pot life (about 3 hours), an added value that allows to easily retouch the product during the application
• High binding power: Artica, adheres without the aid of adhesion promoters on most substrates used in the construction industry.
